Travel Must-Haves This Summer

Travel Must-Haves This Summer

It finally feels like summer and we cannot wait to head out on our vacations! The only rub: what to pack. Fortunately, the M2057 team has some suggestions for chic, comfortable outfits that won't wrinkle and all fit into a carry-on (and many of these pieces are on sale!). All it takes are six key items to give you multiple outfits. We promise—your shoes will take up more space in your suitcase!

It doesn't feel like summer without a trip to the beach! I like to have a collection of pieces that are easy and comfortable but still have more style to them than your average pair of cutoffs.

First on the list: the RITA dress. This is such a versatile dress—I wear it with sandals for walking around during the day, or as a cute bathing suit coverup. Then if we have any dressier nights out I'll put on a pair of heels and statement earrings. The LULA tunic is one of my favorite pieces which can also double as a coverup or a breezy top, and the IMAN top puts a stylish spin on the classic tank. Both of these tops look cool and casual with the JO miniskirt and—because you always need a great pair of jeans—the HEPBURN wide-leg jeans. Finally, the STREEP denim wrap is the perfect layer for cooler nights at the shore.

I love exploring new cities in the summer, but sometimes it's a challenge to find outfits that strike a balance between casual comfort and dressier urban style.

For this, I love the GLENDA skirt. You can wear it with flats or sandals and a white t-shirt for touring around during the day; then, if you're heading out on the town for cocktails, dinner, or dancing, dress it up with heels and a piece like the TRAP top—it makes such a unique, bold outfit. Alternately, you can pull up the Glenda above your bust and wear it as a strapless dress. So many options!

I think a tunic is the ultimate travel must-have for ease, comfort, and style, so I'm obessessed with our new BIRKIN denim tunic. This looks fierce both with bare legs or layered with leggings or a skinny jean like the HUTTON jean. Another travel staple for me is a long-sleeved top, so I love the striped AMIRA top. Both the Amira and the Trap top work with the Glenda skirt and Hutton jean, giving you four unique outfits! Then top everything off with the VEGA parka for cooler temps or air conditioning.
