What to Pack for Summer Travel

What to Pack for Summer Travel

In a recent article the Washington Post asked me about dressing for travel, and it got me thinking about what to pack for different types of destinations. These days I almost always try to avoid checking luggage, which means a minimalist approach to packing.

Whether you're headed to the city or the shore, the secret to packing light is bringing a few key pieces that can be dressed up or down depending on the venue. And high-function fabrics, like those used in the M2057 collection, give you wrinkle resistant, washable garments that make travel a cinch—well, dressing for it, anyway.

Below, see some of my suggestions for what to bring on different vacations. Above all, be comfortable—you should be focused on what you've traveled to see, not stressed about your wardrobe. Safe summer travels, everyone!
