Working with Kickstarter to launch my new collection, M2057 by Maria Pinto, has been an incredible experience and opened up a whole new community to me. I can now appreciate how hard it is to run a successful campaign, and I really enjoy backing other projects because I feel connected to the other artists/designers/creators putting themselves out there.

Each of these projects is a work of passion and determination to follow a dream, and I love the creativity and heart. I like supporting things where you can feel connected to the people behind the object.

Plus they just make me smile.
