Good health is not just about what we put into our bodies—it's also about what we put on them. I am obsessive about what I apply to my skin, so I was delighted to discover KPS Essentials. I knew I couldn't keep this gem to myself, and wanted to share it with you!
This line of creams, oils, serums, and more uses only organic, food-grade ingredients, and you can feel it. For months, I have been having problems with dry, cracking skin around my eyes. I have tried every product on the market, but everything left my skin red and enflamed. But the problem vanished when I used KPS's face lotion—when I apply it it's like I can feel the moisture and nutrients pouring back into my skin.
I also loved the story behind KPS. When I met the co-founder Natalie Bauss, she told me that when working in cosmetics at Nordstrom in the 1980s, an earthquake destroyed the storeroom. Soon after, Natalie was horrified to find that the broken bottles of "high end" skin products had eaten through the carpet to the concrete floor beneath!
She made it her mission to create a line of skincare using only natural, organic ingredients, and she teamed up with scientists and physicists to develop this "rocket science skincare."
