Tansy takes its cues from the shorter side of our collection. She's super boxy, very easy to move in, and makes for the perfect piece to throw on over a dress or pants. Tansy hits every-so-slightly above the hip, with a structured insert along the shoulder and band for a more defined shape. A fold-over asymmetric zipper rounds out the piece that winks at moto, without going full moto.

Guntar is a gorgeous "Almost Leather" that is supple, soft, and machine-washable with light stretch, for incredible fit, comfort, and style.

All Maria Pinto garments are made in the USA utilizing fabrics from Italian mills.

Care:

  • 59% nylon/polymide and 41% elastane with 100% polyurethane fiber coating
  • Machine wash cold on gentle cycle
  • Always wash whites and colors separately
  • Hang to dry; steam if needed
  • Do not bleach or iron
  • Do not dry clean

One of the most beautiful features of this unique fabric is that it has cut edges that add lightness and fluidity to every garment, won't ever abrade or fray, and are very simple to alter. No hems required; to shorten, simply cut and tack the seam allowance. This textile is produced in an eco-friendly way. Our fabric producer is committed to following a sustainable process that reduces their carbon footprint, including reusing water, using clean energy from renewable sources, and minimizing packaging whenever possible. These steps reduce the environmental impact of our fabrics for their entire lifecycle.

Elegant AND Jazzy

This is Maria Pinto's version of a faux leather jacket and it is great. It is not stiff like most faux leather and leather. It looks elegant but also adds some pizzazz to an ordinary outfit. As usual, it is washable!

Love this jacket

I have several Maria Pinto jackets and Tansy is by far one of the most unique. The Gunter color works well with black, cargo or any colors. The shape is somewhat boxy, yet fitted and styled so it hangs well. I love the 3/4 sleeves.
