What was your path to getting where you are today?

My journey has been built on two decades of consistency, discipline, and relationship building. I started in real estate over 24 years ago with the mindset that exceptional service and results would separate me from the rest. Over time, that commitment paired with a strong work ethic and relentless market knowledge has led me to become Chicago’s #1 individual agent with more than $2.5 billion in career sales.

How do you create a work-life balance for yourself?

For me, balance is about presence. When I’m with clients, they get my full attention. When I’m with family and friends, I prioritize being present there as well. Travel and quiet moments with loved ones allow me to recharge, so I come back to work refreshed and focused.

What do you love and appreciate about being a woman?

I love the strength, intuition, and multitasking ability women bring into every aspect of life. The challenge is that women are often expected to juggle everything seamlessly with career, family, and personal goals. What brings me joy is seeing my clients achieve their dreams and knowing I had a hand in shaping such a meaningful part of their lives.

How would you describe your personal style?

Classic, timeless, and sophisticated. I gravitate toward pieces that are elegant yet effortless.

What’s important to you when you’re buying clothing?

Quality, craftsmanship, and fit. In my line of work, presentation matters, and clothing should feel as good as it looks. My work style is polished and professional, while my casual style is relaxed but still elevated, think chic denim, soft knits, or resort-inspired looks when I travel.

What are some of your style or fashion icons?

I admire women like Carolina Herrera, Amal Clooney, and Jennifer Aniston, classic, elegant, and always appropriate without being overdone.

What wisdom would you tell your younger self?

I’d tell my younger self not to compare her journey to others and to trust that staying focused and authentic will lead exactly where she needs to be

What are you watching, reading, and/or listening to right now?

I’m drawn to market reports, luxury lifestyle publications, and podcasts that keep me sharp in business. For relaxation, I enjoy shows that transport me to beautiful destinations or tell compelling human stories.

How do you take care of yourself?

I prioritize fitness, healthy eating, and mental wellness. I carve out time for activities that recharge me: travel, being near the water, and moments of quiet reflection.

If you could live anywhere (and money is no object), where would you choose?

The South of France. The lifestyle, scenery, and sense of tranquility there are unmatched.

Best gift you ever received?

My two sons—they are my greatest joy and the most meaningful gifts of my life.

What are some of your favorite features of the Maria Pinto collection?

I love the versatility, sophistication, and timeless elegance of the pieces. They transition seamlessly from day to night, which is essential in my lifestyle.

What are your favorite Maria Pinto pieces? Why?

Her dresses and wraps stand out to me. They’re impeccably tailored, flattering, and always make me feel confident walking into any room, whether it’s a client meeting, a networking event, or a dinner.
