What industry do you work in and what is your role?
I am a digital transformation leader and Vice President at a global consumer goods company. I specialize in the intersection of Generative AI and digital strategy, helping organizations navigate the future of technology while keeping the human experience at the center.
What was your path to getting where you are today?
My path was paved with two distinct educations. One was a traditional, successful corporate trajectory spanning nearly two decades at firms like Procter & Gamble and Mondelēz. The other was a "Private MBA" from my father; every time I visited him, he insisted on "an hour of strategy". He taught me that kindness is a strategy, the importance of "the non-negotiable," and how to always take the high road without resentment. That bedrock of wisdom is what truly allows me to lead with confidence today.
What are some challenges you've faced in your job or in your life, and how have you tackled them?
Professionally, my focus is the rapid evolution of Agentic AI, which requires constant learning and a willingness to pivot. Personally, I am navigating my first year without my father by leaning into his lessons on resilience and grace to manage the transition.
What hobbies, organizations, or philanthropies are you involved in?
I find deep purpose serving at the Chinmaya Mission, which grounds my spiritual life. I’m also an avid explorer and an Orange Theory Fitness regular—I love the thrill of immersing in a new culture or culinary experience, or conquering a great workout.
How do you create a work-life balance for yourself?
Balance for me is found in intentional solitude and spiritual reflection. Taking quiet time allows me to process the high-speed nature of the digital world and stay grounded in my values. I am a curious traveler and an explorer at heart; I use my journeys as opportunities for perspective shifting, allowing me to return to my life in Chicago with a refreshed sense of purpose and a wider lens on the world.

What do you love and/or appreciate about being a woman? What is one of the biggest challenges? What brings you joy?
I appreciate the resilience it takes to lead with empathy while staying true to my intuition. The biggest challenge has been finding my voice and building confidence in spaces where I was often the youngest leader at the table. What brings me joy is knowing I’ve delivered with empathy and having the opportunity to truly touch others' lives.
How would you describe your personal style?
I describe it as timeless, tailored, and intentional. I’m drawn to clean silhouettes that feel sophisticated and powerful without being overly complicated.
How are you dressing right now?
I’m leaning into versatile chic. I need pieces that work as hard as I do—outfits that can transition from a high-stakes strategy session on GenAI to travel or a fun dinner without losing their shape or polish.
How are you transitioning back to dressing for work?
I’ve moved toward bold jewel tones that make an impact, a lesson I learned from speaking on stage where your visual presence is part of your message.
What's important to you when it comes to buying clothing? How does your work style differ from your more casual or going-out style?
Quality and fit are non-negotiable, but ultimately, it’s about how I look and feel in the piece. My work and casual styles are actually quite similar—I always dress for purpose and impact, reflecting a sense of intentionality and confidence whether I’m in a boardroom or a more relaxed setting.
Who are some of your style or fashion icons?
My ultimate icons are Audrey Hepburn and my mother. I’ve always been inspired by Audrey’s timeless, tailored silhouettes, but my foundational sense of style comes from watching my mother, who has always mastered that effortless elegance and grace that I strive for today.

What are some of your favorite features of the Maria Pinto collection?
I love the structural integrity of the fabrics. They hold their shape beautifully through long days of meetings, and the fact they are easy-care is a game-changer for a busy executive.
What are your favorite Maria Pinto pieces? Why?
I am a huge fan of the Cosima Jogger pants paired with her structured tops. They are my go-to for effortless power; the architectural fit gives me that instant "spotlight" presence while staying comfortable enough for a day full of discovery and high-stakes strategy.
What are you watching, reading, and/or listening to right now?
Just finished Bridgerton and Sandokan; currently watching Prodigal Son. I’m a sucker for complex characters and immersive world-building through sets and costumes.
How do you take care of yourself?
Intentional solitude, spiritual reflection, and high-energy group gym classes.
If you could live anywhere (money is no object), where would you choose?
A beautifully designed sanctuary in Manila or a villa on the Amalfi Coast—somewhere that balances deep history with vibrant energy.
Best gift you've ever received?
The dual influence of my parents: my mother’s innate sense of grace and the "Private MBA" sessions with my father. Together, they gave me the foundational confidence and the strategic lens I carry into every room.
Best piece of advice you've ever received? What wisdom would you tell your younger self?
"Kindness is a strategy." I’d tell my younger self: Trust your voice—being the youngest or smartest at the table is an asset, not a hurdle.
