The classic Muriel, refreshed to Muriel 2. She's a revisit to the classic pencil; taking all the right cues from the silhouette but adds a two way zip all the way down the back and a slightly longer length for a past-the-knee fit that harkens back to the 1940s air of austerity. She's updated with a closer-to-the-body fit, yet still high-waisted enough to get that perfect carving along the waistline for a silhouette that fits just right (and true to size), every time.

Our heaviest, bonded weight, Form fabric has excellent structure with a nice draping quality. Four-way stretch moves with you in every direction; fitted garments in Form are incredibly flattering and comfortable.

All Maria Pinto garments are made in the USA utilizing fabrics from Italian mills.

Care:

  • 75% Nylon / 25% Elastane
  • Machine wash cold on gentle cycle or dry clean
  • Always wash whites and colors separately
  • Hang to dry; steam if needed

One of the most beautiful features of this unique fabric is that it has cut edges that add lightness and fluidity to every garment, won't ever abrade or fray, and are very simple to alter. No hems required; to shorten, simply cut and tack the seam allowance. This textile is produced in an eco-friendly way. Our fabric producer is committed to following a sustainable process that reduces their carbon footprint, including reusing water, using clean energy from renewable sources, and minimizing packaging whenever possible. These steps reduce the environmental impact of our fabrics for their entire lifecycle.

    Super Flattering!

    This skirt is a wonderful staple piece. I don’t wear skirts often and I find myself choosing this one often. I need it in black as well, the teal is fun, but I need black to wear it more often.

    Fantastic and flattering. Simple while also beng elevated. Maria Pint manages to make staple pieces look like top designer priced pieces. Don’t walk—run to buy this skirt!

    This is my third Muriel, and she's perfect. I wear her everywhere from speaking engagements to chasing kids around the park. If you like a pencil skirt, grab her! The cargo color is so versatile.
